What is Study to WIN?

Study to WIN is an extension of the School Mom program to help our kids to read, study, and learn by turning off the television 3 days a week for approximately 2/4 hours a day.  Study to WIN is a fun, exciting, and challenging way to motivate our kids to become better readers and be smarter!  Study to WIN gets everyone who has a desire to be involved get involved in the education process of our children.

Why Study to WIN?

We find that children so often times are being raised by the television especially when their parents are at work.  Over the years, parents have used television to baby-sit their children. This has caused our children to loose much of their smarts and creativity.  Not only are children watching television instead of reading/studying, they tend to watch programming that’s geared more towards an adult audience when their parents aren’t looking.

We have for years relied on the teachers to teach but are often finding out that our children are failing big because not enough people are involved in their education process.  This is a community problem, a city-wide problem, a state-wide problem.  Across the great USA our children are again failing and failing big!

We are finding that too many times when a child thinks he/she is a failure in the classroom, they associate this failure with other aspects of their lives.  Many kids become hopeless and resort to many negative outlets often resulting to a life of crime with the prisons and graveyards filling up with younger children each day.

Now is the time to put forth our very best efforts in preparing our future generation for the next success story.  Study to Win is positive, fun, and easy.  Everyone can participate, giving our youth a reason to believe we really care!
